Both axles can push
A mechanical transfer case and front driveshaft supply front-wheel drive automatically as conditions require. The illustration shows dry-road standby and front assistance on snow or ice; Ford does not specify a constant front/rear torque percentage.
Automatic front-axle engagement · no fixed split
How this works
Low-speed qualitative demonstration; brake traction control and actual grip are not simulated. Tremor’s rear locker can engage in Normal below 20 mph, releases above 25 mph and re-engages below 20 mph; off-road modes have different rules. Locker use is restricted here on dry road. No front locker is fitted. 4WD does not shorten braking distance. Towing ratings in the specifications still require the correct hitch, loading and axle/combined-weight limits.
