2026 Honda Ridgeline · I-VTM4 all-wheel drive

Which 2026 Honda Ridgeline trims have i-VTM4 all-wheel drive?

All four trims, as standard. I-VTM4 is standard on the Sport, RTL, TrailSport and Black Edition. The cheapest Ridgeline , 64-inch bed with it costs $40,795. It's a Sport.

Our Ridgeline data has all four current U.S. 2026 , factory wheels on TrailSport and the Black Edition Two-Tone roof with its required extra-cost paint. It doesn't have other paint/interior selections, accessories and utility/protection bundles, installation charges, option-adjusted weights and earlier yet, so something missing from this page may still be offered.

Rating basis & limits

The two/three/four/five-person scenarios reproduce Honda's manual assumptions: 150 lb per occupant plus 17.6 lb of cargo each, seated front to back. Their trailer ceilings are 5,000/4,875/4,750/4,500 lb; tongue ceilings are 600/585/570/540 lb. Extra occupants' weight, cargo and accessories reduce these limits; this tool does not approve other loading. It uses illustrative 12% tongue weight, within Honda's 10–15% guidance for conventional trailers and 5–15% for boats. The integrated Class III hitch, 7-pin wiring and transmission cooler are standard; ball/mount and any brake controller are additional. Honda recommends trailer brakes at 1,000 lb and above, premium unleaded over 3,500 lb, and no towing during the first 600 miles. A weight-distribution hitch is not required; consult the trailer maker for setup if using one. The manual limits towing to 62 mph, or 55 mph with a fixed-sided trailer, and calls for Auto Idle Stop and fitted rear parking sensors to be turned off. Sea-level combined checks use the lower 9,986-lb specification rating; the manual prints 10,031 lb and reduces combined allowance by 2% per 1,000 feet of elevation. Labels and measured axle/tongue loads control. i-VTM4's variable front/rear torque and separate rear clutch packs do not increase the truck's ratings. Unibody construction and independent rear suspension do not waive any load limit.
