Both axles push

The longitudinal powertrain drives both axles through mechanical 4MATIC and uses 4-ETS brake traction control. The 350e integrates a PHEV motor with its gearbox; the 300 has mild-hybrid assistance. No fixed split or selectable low range is asserted.

How this works

Illustrative wheel states and energy paths. No fixed torque split, real-time control thresholds, grip guarantee, recovery or range prediction.

EV driving is enabled only on the plug-in 350e. Battery charge and operating conditions can require the engine. No selectable axle locker, fixed split or low-range selection is demonstrated. DYNAMIC PLUS adds an electronic rear limited-slip differential on AMG; its operation is automatic. Mild-hybrid assistance is not added arithmetically to rated engine horsepower.

About these comparisons

Each illustration and link uses the build behind its number. Comparisons cover the model years and bodies in our guides. Different rows can use different trims and equipment. Missing values aren’t treated as zero; reported prices and inferred ratings aren’t ranked.

  • Lowest listed trim price in each guide, before destination, options, taxes and fees. Cab and body styles can differ.
  • Highest published output found in each guide. This compares available power, not acceleration or the trim you selected.
  • Best published combined rating found in each guide, including regular hybrids. Plug-in ratings and inferred matches are excluded.
