2026 BMW X3 · The M Sport rear differential

Which 2026 BMW X3 trims have the M Sport rear differential?

One of the two trims. The M Sport rear is standard on the M50 xDrive. The 30 xDrive can't be ordered with it. Valid option combinations were sampled, so we can't say which X3 with it costs least.

Our X3 data has both U.S. 2026 , xDrive mild-hybrid , factory equipment , chassis options and verified wheel selections. It doesn't have paint, interiors, , services, other markets, future models and unresolved wheel or caliper choices yet, so something missing from this page may still be offered.

xDrive responds

The longitudinal engine and 48V mild-hybrid system feed the eight-speed automatic. Mechanical shafts connect the transfer case to both axles. xDrive coordinates drive with demand and grip; the 48V motor is integrated with the transmission, not a separate electric rear axle.

How this works

Illustrative possible control states, with no fixed split, engagement threshold, brake intervention timing or traction guarantee. M Sport Package on the 30 does not add the M50’s M Sport rear differential. No driver axle-lock or low-range control is fitted.

About these comparisons

Each illustration and link uses the build behind its number. Comparisons cover the model years and bodies in our guides. Different rows can use different trims and equipment. Missing values aren’t treated as zero; reported prices and inferred ratings aren’t ranked.

  • Lowest listed trim price in each guide, before destination, options, taxes and fees. Cab and body styles can differ.
