Rear motor can help
The front drive and separate rear motor can share the driving force as the car pulls away. The car decides when the rear motor helps.
How this works
The engine makes 150 ; the front motor is rated 83 and the optional rear motor 30 kW. Their peaks do not add to system output.
Power flow changes automatically. The drawing doesn’t predict traction or stopping distance. It shows front-motor regeneration; Toyota hasn’t specified how much braking energy the rear motor recovers. Battery conditions are examples, not readings from your car.
